Career Services decided that an iPad would be a prize for juniors and seniors. They are having several events where you sign in to be eligible for the iPad. The events are free and are put on to help students with their resumes, dining etiquette, how to act on an interview, and many other aspects of a career.

Career Services has appointments for help as well as walk-ins to help students. One of the events that is coming up is their well known etiquette dinner, they have a formal dinner with possible future employers who can give advice. Another one of the events that they are offering is a graduate workshop to help with graduate school applications and help preparing for the GRE’s.

Linda Shultz, Associate Director of Career Development and Education, said, “right now the contest is for juniors or seniors we’re really trying to encourage as many students as possible so I said maybe if we offer an iPad it’ll generate some interest."

Some of the events that they are holding are on their website. http://www.hartford.edu/career_services/
